At DPerk Design we focus on quality. Our team is cost effective with a dedication towards excellence in precision and timeliness. We ensure that all results and designs comply with industry standards where applicable and maintain communication with our clients throughout the entire project.
With over 15 yrs of advanced engineering design and 20,000+ hours of simulation experience, DPerk Design can simulate, analyze, design, model and draft with cost effective, client oriented, precision-based skill. We focus on client relations and ensure that project objectives are clearly understood and that communication throughout the project is maintained to effectively deliver quality product designs and expectations to meet our clients’ heightened standards.
Daniel Perkins, President and Founder of DPerk Design, LLC, is an experienced FEA and CFD expert whose career spans more than 13 years throughout a broad spectrum of industries. Daniel graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s in engineering, minor in mathematics and has taken graduate classes in Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer from Prairie View A&M. Perkins has designed and developed mechanical engineering plans for projects in the air, ground, underground and in the water. Projects include Snubbing Jacks, sub-sea valve and actuator design, cooling tower droplet formation, pipe stress and flare design, pressure vessel calculations, frac pump HHp rating , waste water treatment plants, Department of Transportation and American Society of Mechanical Engineers trailers and more. Mr. Perkins currently has his E.I.T. and had a P.E. on staff.
In addition to his duties as president of DPerk Design, LLC, Perkins is pursuing this Professional Engineering License from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Professors, colleagues, Professional Engineers, and others find his knowledge of mechanical engineering and breadth of experience extremely valuable when he models, simulates and analyzes structural and fluid flow situations. Perkins is called upon to determine the causation of part failure, “what if” scenarios, design feasibility and load ratings. For example, he uses his expertise to identify why parts failed, or if misuse of an instrument is to blame for incident. Perkins is available to provide expert analysis on old and new designs, regardless of the industry and can convey findings with customers in simple terms for industries such as:
DPerk Design has a long history of advanced CAE design and simulation experience ranging from a broad spectrum of industries and fields of practice. With over a decade of product design and over 20,000 hours of finite element exposure, no problem is entirely new as a whole and the multi-industry experience brings forth a systematic approach to solving problems. Whether it is a simple design that needs to be verified and presented to upper level management in easy to understand terms or a need to simulate a complex design with static or moving parts via FEA or CFD, DPerk Design has the expertise to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
